Welcome to New Year's Eve In Ottawa! We started out as a small local gathering that has grown into one of the most popular New Year's Eve traditions in Canada's capital city. Our bash has sold out every year since its inception in 1999, when we started out with a capacity of 80. We are now over 500!

In 2007 New Year's Eve In Ottawa moved to the Crowne Plaza ballroom where we were able to add an awesome live band that is back by popular demand for 2008! If you are an Ottawa Senators fan you will know Sticks 'n Stones, they rock Marshy's at Scotiabank Place at many home games!

In addition to live music, New Year's Eve In Ottawa features table seating (special pricing for the purchase of a full table of ten) and a gourmet dinner served at 8:00 PM. This year we are featuring a plated rib steak dinner (alternatives available for vegan and vegeterian guests).

Who attends this event? There is always a great mix of people including teens and seniors, but New Year's Eve In Ottawa always attracts large numbers from the 25-55 crowd. We tend to cater to people who want to have a good meal and a good time, but without a frat party atmosphere. If you enjoy dance music that features guitars, drums, keyboards, and singing then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a barbershop quartet or a good gangsta rap, you won't find it here.

We've got a beautiful ballroom, fun people, an awesome rock and roll band, a delicious dinner, a big dance floor, and there will be hats, noisemakers, and other jazz at your table.

We're out to raise a little bit of money for LiveWorkPlay, a charitable organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities, but we are not out to gouge you in the process. We work hard to keep our party affordable. Hosting a New Year's Eve event is a big effort, but it is also tremendously fun and we look forward to it every year. Hopefully you will too!
